Privacy at StyleMuse

The short version: we collect the minimum we need to run StyleMuse — your email if you create an account, the boards you make, and anonymous usage signals that make recommendations better. We don't sell your data. Ever.
What we collect
Account info. If you sign in, we store your email address (and, with Google sign-in, your name as Google provides it). You can use StyleMuse without an account — creating and sharing boards works anonymously.
Your boards.The moodboards you create — the looks on them, titles, captions, and styling choices — are stored so your share links work and, if you're signed in, so you can find your boards later.
Usage signals. We record anonymous product events — searches, saves, swaps, shares, and board views — tied to a random browser identifier, so we can tell which looks resonate and improve matching. Board views on shared links are counted anonymously.
How we use it
To run the product (boards, sharing, your saved-boards page), to improve recommendations, and — if you've signed in — to occasionally email you about your boards or StyleMuse updates. Every marketing email includes an unsubscribe link, and we honor it.
What we don't do
We don't sell or rent your personal information. We don't use third-party advertising trackers. We don't require an account to use the product.
Services we rely on
Like most small products, StyleMuse runs on a few processors: Supabase (database & sign-in), Vercel (hosting & visit counts), PostHog (product analytics — which features get used, so we can improve them), Google (optional sign-in), Resend (sign-in and account emails), and Anthropic (the AI that reads your styling brief to build a board — briefs are processed to generate results, not to build a profile of you). Each receives only what it needs to do its job.
"Shop" links go to the retailers who sell each item. We don't earn a commission on purchases; the retailer's own privacy policy applies on their site.
Cookies
We use cookies only to keep you signed in and to remember your anonymous browser identifier. No advertising cookies.
Your choices
You can unsubscribe from emails at any time, and you can ask us to delete your account and its data by emailing hello@findmystylemuse.com. We'll confirm within a few days.
